The training that I received from Georgia in order to prepare for my first half marathon was excellent. She was fully committed to my success; I felt completely prepared.... she was very knowledgeable, consistent, thorough and 100% supportive of my endeavor. I couldn't have asked for a better coach😋

Georgia's positivity, enthusiasm and personal attention to a runner's particular characteristics make the difference between a good race and a great race.

With just about 4 months to train, I registered to run my first marathon! I run on a weekly basis, but I knew that in order to complete the marathon successfully and without injury I needed advice and a sound running program from an experienced marathon runner. Georgia met with me to discuss my goals and training routine. She took into consideration my current weight training routine and developed a running program that fit into my busy schedule. This well-planned running program, as well as, Georgia’s constant support and motivation throughout my journey were key to achieving my goal of completing my first marathon!

Georgia coached me to run my first 5K, 10K and half marathon. One of my best decisions to work with her. She provides training schedules to fit your needs/schedules and encouragement needed for your training. I highly recommend working with Georgia, especially for newbie runners.

Georgia always brings out the confidence in me; after my fall/injury, she suggested that I stay focused on the many successful races that I have completed. She reminded me of all the times when I was strong with my training. Along the path of recovery she was determined to not give up on me and my running abilities. I was so fearful, that I would not be able to run again and Georgia made me believe and focus simply on things that exist within my control; and certainly did not give me permission to hang my running shoes. She consistently brings out the positive and strength in me, and reminds me every time that doubt arises, “The Little Engine that could”.

I met Georgia one day while I was out for a trail run. We passed each other in the opposite direction and on the 2nd passing, she asked me to run with her. The next 4 miles passed by effortless and I learned a lot about her. We immediately began meeting up to run and she became my mentor, my coach and my friend.
I had done a half marathon prior to meeting Georgia for charity (not for myself). It was through the next year of running with her that she gave me the confidence and training plans to run races for me. I guess something clicked because I began to like the longer distances and not dread them. She’s coached me for the past 15 years and saw me through over 80 races (distances of 5-15k), 17 half marathons, 8 Sprint Triathlons and a full marathon. We’ve traveled to many races around New England and she is inspiring before, during and after each race.

What I like best about Georgia’s coaching is #1 – her true passion for running. She loves it and gets others to love it (even when you yell at her that it sucks she helps you “embrace the suck”) and #2 – her tough love and ability to re-coach after every run to analyze what went right or what went wrong. I tend to get down on myself for not being fast enough, not feeling strong enough, etc. She helps me analyze the feelings and rally with me to get me back in the game. There were many days I told myself I would never run again and then there I was – running with Georgia because she told me I could. She really has a way to make you feel like the little engine that could…
